 GIA gem trade laboratory is the hallmark of integrity, reliability, and consistency in gemological services and research. It's reports are internationally recognized as the benchmark for gemological excellence. Since 1949 GIA has graded the vast majority of the worlds fine diamonds, regardless of size.

GIA makes no compromise on excellence. All procedures are designed for optimum consistency and accuracy. Most important in the equation for excellence is the training and experience of the laboratory's graders.

     Since their establishment in 1978, E.G.L. has become one of the pre-eminent independent gem laboratories with offices throughout the world. The skilled judgement of their trained professionals has earned E.G.L. the respect of Gemologists and Jewelers worldwide. EGL relies on many years of experience and the considerable expertise of their grading staff. Yet, the true test of their determinations is their acceptance in the marketplace. Each stone is thoroughly examined by three graduate Gemologists, who then sign their names to the certificate.
